Payroll settings (Tunisia)

The rates and employer header used to calculate payslips. Rates change with each finance law.

How to do it

  1. Open « Personnel » → « Réglages de la paie » tab.
  2. Fill in the header: company name, tax ID, employer CNSS number, address.
  3. Check the rates: employee CNSS 9.68 %, employer 17.07 %, work accidents, professional expenses 10 % capped at 2,000 DT/year, CSS 0.5 % exempt up to 5,000 DT/year.
  4. Check the deductions: head of family 300 DT, 100 DT per child (4 at most), student without grant 1,000 DT, disabled child (amount to set).
  5. Check the yearly IRPP scale: 0 % up to 5,000, 15 % up to 10,000, 25 % up to 20,000, 30 % up to 30,000, 33 % up to 40,000, 36 % up to 50,000, 38 % up to 70,000, 40 % above.
  6. Set days/hours per month (26 / 173.33), the work week (Monday→Saturday or Monday→Friday) and default leave days (12), then save.

Good to know

  • The calculation helps, but payslips must be checked by an accountant.
  • Rates change with each finance law: check them every year.
